Andrew Cross ACII

Chairman

Andrew joined the company as Chairman in early 2018.  He is a notable figure in the industry and has a proven track record in investing and growing High Net Worth insurance businesses.  He is also Chairman and founder of the Somerville Group which is involved with a range of underwriting, broking and advisory businesses in the insurance and financial services sector.  He was central to the creation, growth and sale of Plum Underwriting and responsible for the transformation of Oak into a market leading, high value insurance provider.

Steve Smith FRSA

Managing Director

Steve has been in working in the High Net Worth insurance sector for over 30 years and is a founding director of Smith Greenfield Services Ltd. He began his career in International Property risk at Lloyd’s of London and has gone on to establish a strong reputation in the Private Client and Fine Art sectors where he has brokered for historic houses, art and antiques dealers, private and corporate art collections and fine art auctioneers.

Elaine Sacker

Claims Adviser

Customer service is Elaine’s key priority.  With over 40 years in the industry, she has extensive knowledge of underwriting and has developed a specialism in claims.  She is experienced in making a client’s claim journey as smooth as possible and offers clients clear, helpful advice, information and support.

Carol is a specialist in High Net Worth insurance and has been advising clients on their specific insurance needs for over 20 years.  With excellent knowledge of the market and the specialist HNW products available she has strong, established relationships with the industry’s ‘A’ rated insurers.

Working in the corporate insurance sector since 2012, Ana advises and arranges commercial insurance policies for Smith Greenfield’s business, trust and charitable clients.  Ana is passionate about ensuring that organisations have the correct level of cover in place.
